myTouchMD is a mobile application that connects physicians and healthcare providers to the people and information they need during a shift; secure messaging with colleagues, a personal patient panel, clinical records with vitals and imaging, and a working schedule; all from a phone.
Business goal: Clinicians lose time switching between pagers, desktop EHRs, and phone calls. The goal was to consolidate care coordination into a single mobile touchpoint that reduces response time to critical events (labs, rapid responses, schedule changes), keeps patient data accessible at the bedside, and drives daily active use by making the app the fastest path to “what needs my attention right now.” Secondary goals were reducing missed communications and supporting compliance (PHI-safe notifications, license verification at signup).
Users: Attending physicians, residents, and nursing staff working across wards and clinics; time-poor, interruption-driven, often one-handed on a phone between rounds.
